During my trekking adventure in Allgäu, I spent a night at Brauereigasthof Adler Post. The spacious room boasted a nice balcony, offering a great view. Though the decor felt dated, it was clean and everything worked well. The carpet, while showing signs of wear, added a vintage charm. Breakfast, while limited, provided good quality, and the dinner at the downstairs restaurant was a highlight, reflecting comfort and decent taste. The staff, notably fluent in English and friendly, enhanced the experience, making the environment welcoming. In considering value versus luxury, this hotel strikes a balance: reasonable rates for a nostalgic vibe and adequate amenities like free Wi-Fi and toiletries. While not contemporary, its charm and hospitality make it a reasonable choice for budget-minded travelers.
